How is it possible to simplify 2 divided by (the square root of 6)? My calculator says that it is equal to (the square root of 6) divided by 3, but I would like to know how to find that.

Answer:

\boxed{(√(6))/(3)}

Explanation:

Multiply the fraction by
(√(6))/(√(6))

(2)/(√(6)) * (√(6))/(√(6)) = (2√(6))/(6)\\

Cancel the 2s

(2√(6))/(6)= (√(6))/(3)

\boxed{(2)/(√(6)) = (√(6))/(3)}
