Hello,

First we need to find radius of r.

To find radius r we will use the formula: d=2⋅r

After substituting d=6 we have---> 6=2⋅r

Then we simplify.

r = 6/2.

r = 3.

Now we find area of A.

To find area A we will use formula: A=r2⋅π.

After substituting r=3 we have:A=3^2⋅π

Therefore we have A=9π.

The formula for circumference is C = πd.

We can just use the approximate for π, which is 3.14

No we have everything we need and just need to plug our numbers in.

C = 3.14 x 6

C = 18.84ft

Make sure to check what the question is asking for. Some questions say to use 3.14, and others say to use the π symbol on the calculator. They give slightly different answers.

If it does say to use the π symbol, make sure to check how they want you to round it.

Hope this helps!
