Answer:

The three points to be plotted can possibly be;

(0, 4.5), (18, 0) , (22, -1)

Explanation:

Given an equation of a straight line, we simply need to determine two or three points that lie on the line and connect them with a straight line. For the line given;

-4y = x - 18

y is always a function of x hence x is the explanatory variable. We simply obtain the values of y by first fixing values of x as follows;

we let x be any 3 values and determine the corresponding values of y.

Let x be 0, y is determined as;

-4y = 0 -18

-4y = -18

y = 18/4 = 4.5

Let x be 18, y is determined as;

-4y = 18 -18

-4y = 0

y = 0

Let x be 22, y is determined as;

-4y = 22 -18

-4y = 4

y = 4/-4 = -1

The three points to be plotted can possibly be;

(0, 4.5), (18, 0) , (22, -1)
