Answer:

f(x)^-1 = 1/2x +3

Explanation:

f(x) = 2x-6

y =2x-6

Exchange x and y and solve for y

x = 2y -6

Add 6 to each side

x+6 = 2y

Divide by 2

(x+6)/2 = 2y/2

(x+6)/2 =y

1/2x +3 =y

This is the inverse of f(x)

f(x)^-1 = 1/2x +3
