Answer:

(y+2)=3/4(x+6) or (y-4)=3/4(x-2)

Explanation:

Point-slope form : (y-y1)=m(x-x1)

slope = m =(y2 - y1)/(x2 -x1)

Point 1 (-6,-2), so x1= - 6, y1= -2

Point 2 (2, 4), so x2 = 2, y2 = 4

m=(4-(-2))/(2-(-6)) = 6/8 = 3/4

Point-slope form : (y-y1)=3/4(x-x1)

We can use any point. If we use point 1 we get

Point-slope form : (y+2)=3/4(x+6).

If we use point 2 we get

(y-4)=3/4(x-2)
