Formula for area of a trapezoid = a+b/2*h (a and b being the two bases, in this case 38 and 18, and h being height)

Plugging in the bases and height, this turns into 38+18/2*16

38+18=56

56/2=28

28*16=448 square centimeters

Hope this helps!
