Area of triangle

= (1/2) x base x height

= (1/2) x 15 x 32

= 240 ft^2 (Sorry, I use the metrical system so I don't know what's the unit)

Let the point where the line in the middle of the triangle touches the bottom end of the triangle be A

From A to the right vertice (or corner) of the triangle, the length is, using pythagoras theorem,

= √((43)^2 - (32)^2)

= √825

Length of other side of triangle, using pythagoras theorem

= √((32)^2 + (15 - √825)^2)

(Sorry I don't have a calculator now so I can't calculate this out, so we'll call this X)

Therefore, perimeter

= 15 + 43 + (that whole chunk up there called X)
