its easy the numbers you divide and then you add it all up..so divide _5,3 then you add it which leads out to -1.That is how i see it

Answer:

The image of point (2 , -1) is (-3 , 2)

Explanation:

* Lets revise the translation

- The point (x , y) can translated horizontally or vertically

- If it's translate horizontally we add or subtract the x-coordinate

# (x - h , y), the point is translated h units to the right

# (x + h , y), the point is translated h units to the left

- If it's translated Vertically we add or subtract the y-coordinate

# (x , y + k), the point is translated k units up

# (x , y - k), the point is translated k units down

* Lets solve the problem

∵ The point (2 , -1)

∵ The transformation Is T (-5 , 3)

- T means translate

- (-5) means translate it to the left 5 units

- (3) means translate it 3 units up

∴ The image of (2 , -1 ) is (2 + -5 . -1 + 3) = (-3 , 2)

* The image of point (2 , -1) is (-3 , 2)
