let's recall that the diameter is always twice as long as the radius, namely if the diameter is 8, its radius is 4 then.

\bf \textit{area of a circle}\\\\ A=\pi r^2~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ r=4 \end{cases}\implies A=\pi 4^2\implies A=16\pi \implies A\approx 50.27

Answer:

The area of given triangle is 50.14 in²

Explanation:

Formula:-

Area of circle = πr²

Where r is the radius of circle

To find the area of triangle

Here diameter of circle = 8 in

Radius r = diameter/2 = 8/2 = 4 in

Area = πr² = 3.14 * 4²

= 3.14 * 16 = 50.14 in²

Therefore the area of given triangle is 50.14 in²
