Question

Is my french correct?

"Je me dépêche se préparer avant je marche à l'ecole. Je aussi marche aller à la bibliothèque le samedi et dimanche. Quelquefois je faire de vélo quand il fait beau. Je cours un mile chaque vendredi à la poste et conduis pour dix blocs à la station essence."


en anglais: i hurry to get ready before i walk to school. i also walk to go to the library on saturday and sunday. sometimes i ride a bike when it is nice outside. i run a mile every friday to the post office and drive for ten blocks to the gas station.


additonal question: how exactly do i use 'se dépêcher' in a sentence? if i want to say "i hurry to get ready" would i say in french "je + me (se) dépêch(e/conjugated) + to get ready ( se préparer )--would se in se préparer be changed to the reflexive 'me'?

se préparer = reflexive verb = de me préparer (to get (myself) ready in French)

I walk to school = je vais aller à pied/ you must add the verb "aller" to mean you go there walking

quelquefois = it's better between the subject and the verb...

faire = je fais

I run a mile to the post office = jusqu'à la poste

to (go to) the gas station = pour aller à la station service (as a French speaking person, it sounds weird without "pour aller" ......
