1: Quieren regresar a Nueva York algún día.

"De" means of or from (as opposed to "a" meaning at or to), so option one would not make sense.

Option three gets rid of the preposition completely, which is incorrect.

Option four uses the verb "devolver", which would be the incorrect translation in this case.

2: Las fotos son sacadas por un fotógrafo

My best guess is that 2 is correct and that you just mis-typed it. La foto is a feminine word, so it wouldn't make sense to use the pronoun "los".

Option one is incorrect because the adjective "sacados" describes something masculine, and la foto is feminine.

Option three is incorrect because "eran" is the imperfect tense conjugation for ser, and the original sentence is using present tense.

Option four is incorrect because firstly, the verb ser was completely removed, as if saying "the pictures taken". Second, "de" means of or from, and not by. "Por" means by.

Hope this helped!
