For the parallelogram to be a rectangle, at least one angle must be a right angle or a 90° angle, we know that:

13x + 34° + 10x + 10° = 90°

=> 13x + 10x = 90° - 34° - 10°

=> 23x = 46°

=> x = 46°/23 = 2°
