Answer: x = 2/3

Explanation:

Add all sides.

2x-2 + 2x - 2 + x + x =

6x - 4

Put " = 0 "

6x-4 = 0

Add 4 to both sides.

6x-4 = 0

+4 = +4

-------------------

6x=4

You get 6x = 4 because the 4 on the left side of the equals sign cancelled out!

NOW DIVIDE 6 FROM BOTH SIDES

6x = 4

/6 /6

-----------

x= 4/6

SIMPLIFY / REDUCE FRACTION

4/6 divided by 2 = 2/3

2/3 is the answer !
