When radius is multiplied by 4 , the volume of the sphere will increase.

The volume of a sphere is calculated thus :

  • Volume = 4/3*πr³

There is a direct variation or relationship between Volume and radius of a sphere:

  • V ∝ r³

This means that an increase in either volume or radius would mean an increase in either parameter.

Therefore, multiplying radius by 4 would caise volume to increase.
