Can someone help me with these two questions I’m stuck! For the first one I thought I would need to multiply 5 by pi but it turned out to be 15.7079632679 so I know that’s not the correct answer.

Answer:

34)310

25)option 3

Explanation:

to find the area of a circle use the formula pi*r^2

since 2 times the rake equals the radius

5*2=10

now use the are formula:

3.14*10^2=

314

the closest answer to 314 is 310

35) angle svt is obtuse and angle rvs appears acute

supplementary angles=180

and an obtuse angle can't be complementary as complementary angles=90

all other options are wrong since they either follow vertical angle theorem or

are complementary when they should be supplementary and vice versa

hope this helps!

1. First, we need to approximate the radius. That is the distance from that middle point to the edge. The broom is about half the distance. That means that the radius is about 10 feet. Also, multiplying the radius by π will get you nowhere. To find the area, you need to use the equation A = πr². We know know that r = 10, so 10²π ≈ 100 * 3.1 = 310 ft².

2. Complementary angles add up to 90°, which forms a right angle. Supplementary angles add up to 180°, which forms a straight angle, or a line. We can ignore A and B, since there isn't any right angles. Also, ∠RVS makes a straight line with ∠SVT and ∠RVU. From our options, we can see that C has the fitting description.
