Answer:

Area : 37cm^2

Perimeter : 29 cm

Explanation:

If you need to find the perimeter you just add all of the sides together

7 + 7 + 1.5 + 1.5 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 29

If you want to find the area you can split the shape into simpler ones that you know how to find the area. In this case you can split it into a triangle and a square.

Square : 4 × 4 = 16cm^2

Triangle : [(4+1.5+1.5)(6)]/2 = 21cm^2

Then add them together

16cm^2 + 21cm^2 = 37cm^2
