if y = 5 than 2x - 5 = 5 we can simplify this too 2x = 10 ( by adding the 5 to both sides ) now we can simplify and get x = 5 ( by dividing by 2 ) so we get (5,5) as our first point. well since its in slope intercept form ( y = mx + b ) we can graph it.
