The answer is (2,4) or x=2, y=4

You can solve this system of equation by several ways, but the easiest is to make one variable, like x the same in both equations so that you can isolate a variable with the Subtraction Property of Equality. Once you find any value of any variable, you just put it right in the 2nd equation (or first) and you get the 2 values!

Answer:

x=22/5

y=22/3

x=0

y=2

Explanation:

in order to find the y and x intercepts you have to imput 0 for either x or y and then solve for the opposite variable
