Since the line 3y = 2x+6 can be simplified to

y = 2/3 x + 2, this would lead it to have a y of 6 when it has an x of 6

Using this, it's possible to subtract 6 from the y value to get to 0, and subtract another 4 to get to -4 (while x is six)

In the equation, this would mean just subtracting:

y = 2/3 x - 4 (after subtracting six from other)

- 4

Equation and answer:

y = 2/3 x - 8

To check : Substitute x with 6;

2/3(6) - 8

4 - 8

-4

When X is 6, Y is -4;
