Answer: 20 outlets.

Explanation:

We know that Jamal rewired 4 electrical outlets in 1 1/2 hours. This time can be rewritten as a decimal:

(1+(1)/(2))hours=1.5hours

Then, if he works at the same pace for 7.5 hours you can calculate the number of outlets that he will rewire with:

(1.5)/(4)=(7.5)/(x)

Being "x" the number of outlets that Jamal will rewire.

Finally, you have to solve for "x":

(1.5)/(4)=(7.5)/(x)\\\\x((1.5)/(4))=7.5\\\\x=(7.5)((4)/(1.5))\\\\x=20

He will rewire 20 outlets.
