Why do some people hear ringing in there ears

Answer: It's caused by damage to or the loss of sensory hair cells in the cochlea (inner ear).

Explanation: Tinnitus can present in many different ways, including sounds related to the ocean, ringing, buzzing, clicking, hissing or whooshing.

It means their ears are damaged due to loud sounds.
