Let

we know that

Teacher A

Pizzas were cut into 6 equal slices

so

The area of each slice is
(1)/(6)x

Teacher B

Pizzas were cut into 8 equal slices

so

The area of each slice is
(1)/(8)x

step 2

The area of the slice teacher A multiply by 4/4


(1*4)/(6*4)x=(4)/(24)x

The area of the slice teacher B multiply by 3/3


(1*3)/(8*3)x=(3)/(24)x

step 3

Compare the fractions


(4)/(24)x>(3)/(24)x

therefore

Pizzas teacher A were cut into larger slices
