Answer:

The season namely summer, autumn, winter and spring occurs due to the two main reasons, namely-

  • Tilt of the earth's axis
  • Inclination of the earth's elliptical path, where the distance between the earth and the sun keeps on increasing and decreasing.

It is due to these two reasons that the different types of seasons come into the picture. At the different locations of the earth with respect to the sun, the earth experiences changes in its climatic condition in both the hemispheres.

When the tilt of the earth is oriented towards the sun then, in that case, the northern hemisphere experiences summer and also the northern hemisphere experiences spring season soon after the end of winter in the month of March and during this time, the tilt of the earth neither faces towards or away from the sun.

The exact opposite situation occurs in the southern hemisphere, where the southern experiences fall in the month of March.

Answer:

The answer is Due to the inclination of the earth with respect to the sun.

Step-by-step explanation:

Due to the position that the earth takes during that time (March), or rather, due to the inclination of the earth, this change of season occurs. This is presented, since the northern hemisphere of the earth is inclined towards the sun, and will present seasons such as summer and spring; while the southern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun, and therefore will experience autumn (fall) and winter.
