Because a single computer can store more data than many journals put together. Computers have a large memory. Not only can scientific data be stored but it can be retrieved easily.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Computers are the electronic devices which have huge memory. Thus a large scientific data can be stored. The information and data can be observed and analysed any time. The data in the handwritten form in the notebook is subjected to be damaged, lost and stolen. The computer stored data can remain safe by using passwords.
