The numbers 13, 84, and c are a Pythagorean triple. What is the value of c?

Answer:

c=85

Explanation:

pythagorean theorem is a²+ b²= c²

in this case we are trying to find c

we all ready know a and b so we just plug them in=

13²+84²=c²

now we square the 13 and 84=

169+7056=c²

7225=c²

to undo a square...we use square root...

you go find the square root of 7225...

85=C
