2 - (-4) would be your top number. To subtract a negative number is the same as adding a positive, so 2 - (-4) is the same as 2 +4, so your top number is 6.

Now, to find the bottom number, you subtract the x's.

5-2 which is 3.

We now have the top and the bottom number

6/3 which is the same as 2.
