Answer:

estimate:2571.4

actual:2464

Explanation:

1) Area of a circle formula:

pi*r^2

pi=22/7

radius=28 cm

so

22/7*28^2=

22/7*784/1=17248/7

17248/7= 24694

THIS IS THE EXACT VALUE

EStimate is

20/7*30^2=

20/7*900=18000/7

2571.4

2464 AND 2571.4 ARE CLOSE ENOUGH SO I WOULD USE 20/7*30^2 AS MY ESTIMATE HOPE THIS HELPS!

Answer:

2464cm^2

Explanation:

Formula for area of a circle = A = pi*r^2

r^2 comes first and we plug in 28.

28^2 = 784

Then we multiply it by pi, which in this case is 22/7

784 * 22/7 = 2464
