I think of a number, multiply it by three, and add four. I get twenty two.

a) Using the statement above, form an equation.
Use the letter 'x' for the unknown number.

im not sure with A I mean, forming an equation, I guess it should be 3x+4=22 that's all as texted and for B

what I did was subtract 4 from 22 which I got 18 and then I divided 18 with 3, since the question said it was multiplied by 3.

22-4=18.

18÷3=6. 6×3=18

3×6+4=22
