There are 2 ways to do this

1) 2/6 is 0.33333.. which is 1/3.

So now whatever the person picked out from the 2 marbles is 1/3 of what has been chosen. There are 2/3 of yellow marbles left in the bag

So in the red it would be 1/3 and x/18 do the math and it would be 6. It would be 6/18.

Another way to do this and I found it a more simpiler way but it might not be always that case.

2) you divide 6 and 2 to get 3. Then you also divide 18 by the 3 (which you got from 6 by 2) which is 6

You will get the same answer if you do it the first or second way.
