I believe the answer is D. Sure they aren't reviewing all of the people that even come in on Saturdays, but the first 50 people are usually the ones that will care the most compared to the last 50 people.

Answer:

A and E are correct.

Explanation:

The correct statements are :

A. The sample is biased because it does not represent the population.

E. The question is biased toward a Yes response.

Explanation for A:

This is a biased sample as all the members were not included in the study. Only first 50 people were asked out of possible hundreds of people who go to the library. So, this option is true. Only 50 people does not represent a population.

Explanation for E:

It is obvious that the people who are the first to come to the library are very much keen to come early, so they will definitely say yes to the question. So, the option holds true to the fact that question is biased towards a yes response.
