The given function is

f(x)=4^x

Part A

k\bullet f(x) will stretch the
f(x)=4^x vertically by a factor of k, if
k\:>\:0, but if
0\:<\:k\:<\:1 the graph will shrink vertically by a factor of k.

Part B.

f(x+k) is a horizontal transformation, that moves the graph of the function h units to the left.

Part C

f(x)+k shifts the function up vertically by k units.

Part D

Given

f(x)=4^x as the parent function,

i)
f(x-2) shifts
f(x)=4^x, 2 units to the right.

ii)
f(x)+2 shifts the graph 2 units up.

iii)
3f(x) stretches
f(x)=4^x vertically by a factor of 2 units.

iv)
4^(x+4)=f(x+4) which shifts the function horizontally 4 units to the left
