Here's how you do this:

a.

1) Find the area of the base ((8×5)-(2×2)=36)

2) To find the surface area of prism, add the base area and the sides together, then multiply that by 5 (5×(36+5+8+5+3+2+2+2+3)=330).

3) Multiply the base by 5 to find the volume of the prism (5×36=180).

The answers are: surface area=330cm^2 and volume=180cm^3.

b.

(Do the same steps as a, but multiply by 10 instead of 5 for the surface area and volume)

The answers are: surface area=660cm^2 and volume=360cm^3.

c.

When the height doubled, the surface area and volume increased by 100%.
