Answer:

You would wind up with (3, 2)

Explanation:

When we move the point to the left, we subtract the amount that we move.

5 - 2 = 3

And when we move down, we also subtract by that number in the y portion.

4 - 2 = 2

(3, 2)

Answer: (3,2)

Explanation:

Hi, if we move 2 units left, it means that we are moving backwards (negative) on the x axis. x2= (-2 )

IF we move 2 units down, it means that we are moving 2 units in the y- axis, in the negative form. y2 =(-2)

So, it the final expression is (x2, y2) = (-2-2)

Since we start on (5, 4) we have to add the new coordinates (-2,-2)

(5,4) + (-2,-2) = (5-2,4-2) = (3,2)

You will end at (3,2)
