Lisa paid $42.37 for 15.3 gallons of gasoline. What was the cost per gallon, rounded to the nearest hundredth?

The answer is $2.80.

Step by step explanation:

42.37/15.3

15.3 divided by 15.3= 1

And you have to do the same for the numerator which is 42.37, so

42.37 divided by 15.3=2.76 (please check the calculator)

You would now have to round it which would be 2.80 (I think)
