the slope of the line BC is
m=2

Line F


y=-(1/2)x+4

the slope of the line F is
m=-1/2

we know that

If two lines are perpendicular, then the product of their slopes is equal to -1

so


m1*m2=-1

we have


m1=2 -----> slope line BC


m2=-1/2 -----> slope line F

Find the product of their slopes


(2)(-1/2)=-1

therefore

Lines BC and F represent perpendicular lines
