Answer:

=(1\pm √(43))/(6)

Explanation:

The given equation is 6x² - 2x = 7

We have to solve this equation to get the value of x

6x² - 2x - 7 = 0

Now we apply the quadratic formula in this equation.

x=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^(2)-4ac}}{2a}

Here b = (-2), a = 6 and c = (-7)

x=\frac{+2\pm \sqrt{(-2)^(2)-4(6)(-7))}}{2(6)}

=(2\pm √(4+168))/(12)

=(2+√(172))/(12)

x=(2\pm √(4(43)))/(12)

x=(2\pm 2√(43))/(12)

x
=(2(1\pm√(43) )/(12)

x
=(1\pm √(43))/(6)
