Germany had just lost WW1 and have a huge debt from it. Hitler promised to "make things right" Saying it was unfair. He said what the Germans wanted to hear at that time. saying that if he was in power he would help fix their economy. That's how he got the power. He kept it by mass propaganda and blaming the Jews for their problems. So he practically brainwashed the people into following him. Don't know if this helps
