What were the causes and effects of the progressive movement from 1890-1920?​

Causes: The problems caused by industrialization, urbanization, immigration, and political corruption. Reconstruction in general after the Civil War also contributed - people were just trying to improve America.

Effects: The 18th Amendment (prohibition of alcohol), the 19th amendment (women's right to vote).
