the top is going to be 18

the bottom is -2

for the first one, 4y^2-2x/7+2y

4(2)^2 -2/7+2(7)

first in PEMDAS, we get the parentheses and exponents, so the 4(2)^2 is going to become 4(4) which ends up being 16 because 2 * 2 = 4

second is to multiply which we already did in the first step

then we divide 2(x) / 7 which is 2(7) /7 which equals 2

then add 2(2) which is 4, so the leaves us with 16 -2+ 4 = 18

For the bottom, its 6(1/2) - 8(3/4) +1

whenever you multiply anything by 1/2, its just dividing it by two, so 6* 1/2 = 3, and 8(3/4) is just 8/1 * 3/4, we multiply both the top and the bottom which is 24/4 which equals 6, and then you add one. so its 3 -6+1 which is = -2
