the cost for a bakery to make a dozen muffins is 2.52. the sale price of an individual muffin is 2.99. for one day, the bakery will donate 1/2 of the profits from muffin sales to charity. what is the bakeries donation, in dollars, if 88 muffins are sold that day

I'm pretty sure it would be $131.56

Explanation:

I think it will be $131.56 because if you take an multiply the 2.99 times 88 the number of muffins that were sold that day, then you would get $263.12. If you donated 1/2 of the profits made, then you would take 263.12 and divide it by 2 because half of it would be divided by 2. So therefore you would get $131.56! Hope this helps!
