It would be -1

Explanation:

1) find your points

(-2,0) and (0,-2)

2) now figure out if the line is negative or positive

It would be negative because the line is going down

3) do rise over run

start at (-2,0) and count down (rise) until you are inline with your second point then more to the right until you get to your second point which would be (0,-2)

The slope would be 2/2 and it would be negative which would turn to 1 which then turns to -1 since it has to be a negative slope because the line is going down
