f(x)=x^2−36

g(x)=x^3+2x^2−10

By definition, we have


(f+g)(x) = f(x)+g(x)

So, if we plug the definitions of f and g, we have


(f+g)(x) = f(x)+g(x) = x^2-36+x^3+2x^2-10=x^3+3x^2-46
