A bag contains 6 white marbles and 4 black marbles. You pick out a marble, record it’s color, and put the marble back in the bag. If you repeat this process 35 times, about how many times do you expect to remove a white marble from the bag?

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!

The probability of picking out a white marble is

(number of white marbles) / (number of all marbles)

= 6/10

= 60 % .

If the 35 draws break exactly according to the probability, then you' expect to get white marbles

(60%) of (35 draws)

= (0.6) x (35 draws)

= 21 times

The number of white marbles drawn = P (white) * number drawn
