You can find the side length of triangles by looking at the points or it might be easier to see if you look at the graphs that I have attached. I can see that the legs of the small triangle are 3 and the legs of the large triangle are 15. What do I need to multiple 3 by to get 15? 5. That is the scale factor from the little triangle to the big triangle. If I go the other way, the scale factor is the reciprocal of 5 or 1.5
