Mr. and Mrs. Pierotti are remodeling their kitchen. They need 9 square yards of covering for the floor. Jackson Interiors quoted them a price of $81 for 9 square yards of linoleum. Carpet Master told them that carpeting would cost $6 per square yard. Which is cheaper—the linoleum or the carpeting?
