1. How was the native African culture important to and/or protected by Nelson Mandela?

Nelson Mandela was a very important person, he fought for South Africa and proved that he was worth being president. He was a great man who abolished all evil things in the country, he helped bring peace between Black and white people. These action that he caused landed him in prison for almost 3 decades, he was released in 1990, and he participated in eradication of apartheid and later on became the first Black president to run South Africa. South Africa was so important to him because he grew up there and its his home, many people would not have the courage of what he had to do something so incredible.

2. How have political activities shaped South Africa?

His work shaped South Africa today by, he made black and white people equal, he made his own law for the country, he abolished all unfair acts of people etc. When he retired he still remain the champion for peace and social justice in his own nation and around the world.
