So I attached an image explaining how I solved the problem, but essentially you use the Pythagorean Theorem to define the two other sides, which I named "a" and "b", and then defined them in terms of x, using the Pythagorean Theorem. I finally defined the hypotenuse of the entire triangle which is 36+64 in terms of these two equations. Once that entire thing was set up it was a matter of solving for x, to get 48
