According to what we read in the New Testament, why did Jesus have to die and rise from the dead? What did Jesus secure for us through his death and resurrection? How do we receive the benefits of Jesus’ death and resurrection? Have you trusted in Jesus?

2. Obedience to God:

If we choose to trust in Christ, why should we seek to live in obedience to God? Should our motivation for obeying God be love and thanksgiving or fear?

3. Growth in Holiness:

What does the word “holiness” mean? What does the expression “growth in holiness” suggest about the Christian’s life? If becoming like Jesus is a process, if we trust in Christ, what should we see as we look back over their lives?

4. The Fruit of the Spirit:

If we trust in Christ, the Holy Spirit will, over time, produce the Fruit of the Spirit in us. Specifically, if we trust in Christ, how will the Fruit of the Spirit affect our relationship with other people?

5. Love for Other Christians:

God loves everyone with unconditional, unrelenting, and unselfish love. God calls everyone who trusts in Christ to love others the way he loves everyone. If we love others the way God loves us through Jesus, what will we be willing to do for others?

Why are people who trust in Christ able to positively influence others?

Why should people who trust in Christ use the Bible to support their beliefs about God, people, and the world rather than their opinions or the opinions of others?

In your opinion, who is God? Does your description of God include a reference to love? To what extent does God love you? How does the reality of God’s unconditional, unrelenting, and unselfish love for your affect your relationship with him?

1. Jesus had to die and rise from the dead to be able to pay for our sins so that we would have a chance to able to live in heaven. He secured the chance for us to be able to have eternal life in heaven. We receive the benefits of Jesus' death and resurrection by having a relationship with Him and asking for him to forgive our sins.

2. We need to trust that God is guiding us in the right direction and that will cause us to be obedient to him because we will have the trust of knowing that He won't make us do anything bad. Our motivation should be love and thanksgiving but also fear because we need to fear God but also appreciate him and be thankful.

3. It means that we have a relationship with Christ and love him and respect him and also repent for our sins. The expression "growth in holiness" is we are gaining a relationship with Christ and drawing closer to him. We will see a change from where we were from to how far we have gone and how close our relationship is with Christ now.

4. It will affect our relationship with other people because then we will be showing Gods love and his patience and joy and kindness because that's what God shows us.

5. If we show the same kind of love God shows us, then others will show that same love kinda like a domino effect.

6. They are able to positively influence others because they have been positively been influenced and and we are supposed to be called to do as Jesus has done.

7. They are supposed to support their beliefs from the bible so that we don't get confused and twist words. Satan knows the bible and twists words to deceive people and make them confused and lost. We need to go to God about everything because He reassures you of what you should and shouldn't be doing.

8. In my opinion, God is my savior and redeemer. He is the one who has given me life. Yes, it does, because if he didn't love me then he wouldn't have sent his one and only begotten son to die on the cross and save us from our sins. God loves you eternally, now he might not love the things you are doing but God loves everyone equally. He shows me that I can go to him with everything and he will understand and comfort me and be there for me when I most need him.
