In what ways were black and whites completely separated in 1930s in Alabama?

Blacks had to use separate bathrooms couldn’t go to certain restaurants and if they could they would have to go to the back doors to get their food

There were separate restrooms, waiting rooms, water fountains, and also people of color had restricted access to restaurants, etc.
