Answer:

a) president johnson’s escalation of the vietnam war after the Tonkin Gulf incident

Step-by-step explanation:

Too much executive branch power can be bad for a country and for a society, in thsi case a good example could be the decisions made by President Johnson when faced when the Vietnam war, he personally believed that part of defending the soveraignity of the United States was to prevent the communist to spread their influence over the globe, this meant fighting and supporting wars that were fought by soviets allies. President Johnson escalated from 6,000 soldiers to nearly half a million in the first years of his presidency without needing authorization from the houses, this is a perfect example of the consequences of the executive branch of a country having too much power.
